Heather Glenn

FNTP, HHC & CPT

Heather is a certified nutrition professional who is passionate about helping her clients build a healthy and highly functioning body and mind through food and daily self-care practices so that they feel energized, focused and capable of pursuing their ambitions, and becoming the best version of themselves.

Through the lens of her own personal experience in recovering from digestive issues and chronic fatigue, and their implications on her mood, anxiety and GI discomfort levels, Heather knows first-hand how impactful nutrition, good gut health and a healthy lifestyle can be in supporting these health issues.

When traditional Western medicine left Heather without answers to her health concerns, she sought a functional approach to healing. In this process, Heather learned about the power of nutrition as well as the impacts of chronic stress and gut dysbiosis. This led her to pursue a career in functional wellness so that she could support others who were experiencing the same frustrations with their health, and who wanted to take a holistic approach to addressing their health issues.

Heather takes a bio-individual approach to nutrition because there is never a one-size-fits all approach that is optimal for everyone. Each person has their own nutrition needs based on ancestry, current lifestyle, health history, current health struggles and preferences.

Heather starts by addressing the foundations of health including whole-food nutrition, blood sugar balancing, good digestion, balanced fatty acids & minerals, and hydration. In supporting these foundations, our body has the amazing ability to rejuvenate itself so that we feel whole and highly functional again.

Heather is a proponent of building healthy practices in small bite-sized pieces so that new lifestyle habits feel doable, and more importantly, SUSTAINABLE. Small wins will give you confidence and provide motivation to keep going. The compound effect of those small changes, done consistently over time, will lead to long-term change, and that’s what we want! When you work with Heather, you’ll have an empathetic and steadfast partner on your health journey, so you never feel you are alone in the process.

Heather is a graduate of the Nutritional Therapy Association and Course Mentor for the Nutritional Therapy Program. In addition to her training as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, she is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach, Behavior Change Specialist and fitness professional. She is a mom of boys and needs all the energy she can get to keep up with them and their busy lives. When not helping clients or mentoring coaches she is likely driving kids to practice or school, watching them on the ball field, reading a good personal development book, doing a home-workout, hiking, traveling or spending time with friends.
