As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an Art Therapist, my primary focus to create a safe space to process difficult feelings and experiences that is free of judgement. I strive to support my clients by exploring connections in their lives and help to identify road blocks by gaining insight to facilitate growth. I work primarily with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and PTSD. I also work with children and families and use a combination of art therapy and talk therapy to help in diving deeper into painful thoughts and feelings so that acceptance can be reached. I blend a series of treatment approaches including; mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and I am trained in Seeking Safety, which is an empirically studied, integrative treatment approach developed specifically for PTSD and substance abuse.
